With interest in tackling the unrest in Nigeria, which has resulted in the killing of its citizens, efforts are being made to bring those responsible to justice. The United States has said that the killing of Christians is unacceptable. The Nigerian president has stressed that the killings and kidnappings are not targeted at one group of people.
Last Christmas, the United States launched a strategic attack on the militant group, ISIS. The strikes were a joint effort with Nigerian authorities.
In a post on X, the United States Africa Command, AFRICOM, announced the delivery. “US forces delivered critical military supplies to our Nigerian partners in Abuja. This delivery supports Nigeria’s ongoing operations and emphasizes our shared security partnership,” AFRICOM said
This shows that Nigeria and the United States are not backing down in the effort to tackle the terrorists in Nigeria.
